Tonight’s Grassroots Candidate Live was a good one! Thank you to Ericka Kopp for VA-01 for sitting down with us and laying out exactly why she’s running, and thank you to my cohost Walter Rhein for being here with me for the conversation.
If you live in VA-01, Tuesday, August 4th, 2026 is the Democratic primary, and Ericka Kopp deserves your vote. VA-01 covers Essex, Gloucester, King and Queen, King William, Lancaster, Mathews, Middlesex, New Kent, Northumberland, Richmond, Westmoreland, and York counties, the Williamsburg/James City area, portions of Chesterfield, Hanover, and Henrico, and the city of Poquoson. If you’re not sure which district you’re in, check your voter registration before Tuesday.
If you’re in that district, please vote. And if you have friends or family there, call them today or tomorrow and ask them to vote too. Primaries get decided by small numbers of people, and every call matters. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!
Thank you Will Fullwood, Chris Resists, Stuart Cohen, Ms.Yuse, Bee's Free Verse/True Verse, and many others for tuning into my live video with Walter Rhein and Ericka Kopp for VA-01! Join me for my next live video in the app.
