I don’t give a damn who you support. To each their own. Who you read, who you fund, who you tune in for — that’s on you, and I mean that without a drop of judgment. We’re all making our own calls about where to put our attention in a collapsing media landscape.
But I get to make mine, and I want to be transparent about it because people keep sending me recommendations to follow certain people and I just can’t because of who they choose to keep as company and work for: I can’t in good faith support Blue Amp Media.
Not because of their politics. On paper, it seems, we want the same things. It’s because of the narratives they’ve chosen to elevate and who they’ve chosen to elevate them. It feels like getting a present we‘ve always wanted, but someone smeared shit all over it. I’d rather not. Thanks, but no thanks.
My only wish is for people in independent media to exercise more moral integrity.
Blue Amp gave Joe Walsh a recurring co-hosting slot. Not a guest spot. A show. The same Joe Walsh who spent years in Congress and on the radio building the exact politics he now gets paid to denounce. I’ve written about his record at length. It speaks for itself. I wrote about it here:
Blue Amp formally endorsed convicted felon, Lev Parnas for Congress. Parnas admitted, and was convicted in federal court, of funneling illegal foreign money into American elections. He now appears on their shows breaking claims no one can verify — a Florida grand jury preparing to indict Barack Obama, back-channel revelations about who’s REALLY running foreign negotiations — and every appearance closes the same way: subscribe, and buy his book. Whatever that is, it isn’t accountability. Smells incredibly grifty. Enough with the shiesty redemption arcs already. And yes, I will die on this hill. I wrote about it back in May, here:
And there’s the GoFundMe. Parnas is personally raising money for what he calls a national movement — travel, town halls, events, etc. He’s a man with a federal conviction for lying about where political money came from and now asking the public to trust him with theirs.
Trust is the thing you can’t manufacture and can’t fake for long, which is exactly why so much money is currently being spent trying. Which is also why the new grift is trust-shaped. "No corporate filters." "We answer only to you." "The stories they won't tell." The language of trustworthiness has become a business model precisely because real trust is scarce, and scarcity makes a market. Every one of those phrases can be true or can be a costume, and the words themselves won't tell you which — the receipts will.
But, trust isn't naive, and withholding it isn't wisdom. And believing nothing is just as lazy as believing everything. Both are ways of quitting the actual work, which is discernment. The people who were right the whole time exist. They are the reporters who never sold the story, the organizers who never needed a redemption arc, and the neighbor who always shows up. Trust hasn't died; it's just gone back to being earned retail instead of issued wholesale.
Stop allowing the fire to burn you twice. Someone recently asked Lev Parnas how the gofundme money is being spent and this is what he had to say.
He didn't answer the question. Instead, he called the guy a name and told him to get a life. He's done the same to a former Boston Globe and L.A. Times journalist whose reporting he didn't like — no specifics, no corrections, just a warning to his audience that she's a scammer. He tried to do the same to me. I called out what I was watching with my own two eyes, and he restacked my essay with a lengthy bitch-fest about who I am as a person — a person he has never met and knows nothing about. Dozens of his followers showed up in my mentions to do the rest. Except, I don't take kindly to bullying, and I clock people real quick. I stood my ground. He quietly backed off and so did all his flying monkeys. Deny, attack, reverse victim and offender — the DARVO playbook, run every time scrutiny gets close to Parnas. When "where does the money go" gets treated as an attack on a public figure's honor, that tells you everything about the answer.
The endorsement is on their site. The shows are in their archive. None of this is hidden. It’s the model: having been spectacularly wrong, or convicted, functions as a credential, proximity gets treated as proof, and the people who were right the whole time can’t compete with a redemption arc that sells subscriptions.
So no, I won’t be subscribing, sharing, or sending anyone their way. You do what you want with your attention and your money. I’d rather be W. Kamau Bell Approved instead.
Integrity matters. Truth matters. Honor matters.
Look, at the end of the day, America is in this mess because we keep handing the wrong people the microphone. We keep giving the men who broke things chance after chance after chance, and every chance comes with an audience, a platform, and a hefty paycheck. Meanwhile the people who were right the whole time are still waiting for everyone else to catch up. I’m tired of saying, “I told you so.” We’re all tired of saying it.
I’m officially all outta fucks to give. No more chances. Not one more second of my time for the Graham Platners, the Joe Walshes, the Adam Kinzingers, the Lev Parnas’s of the world. Out with the old. In with the new. Bring back integrity. There are plenty of people out there who deserve the spotlight. The people who don’t deserve it are the people with criminal records, Nazi tattoos, rape allegations and flip-floppy politics.
And if Blue Amp Media keeps handing men like these the spotlight, I’m out.
If a paid subscription isn’t in the cards right now, I completely get it — truly. But if you’ve ever read something here and thought “damn, she needs to keep doing this,” you can throw a few bucks in the tip jar over at Buy Me a Coffee.
No pressure. No guilt. Just me, asking nicely, with my hand out like a very earnest raccoon who writes controversial essays.

Thank you for being here. Seriously. You make this worth doing.

The last few days blue amp media has showed up several times in my feed. I haven't tuned into them......now I know why I stayed away! Thank you for the heads-up, Eevie.
I tune into your content every day 😁
Blue amp media is a Zionist pro genocide outlet. The only one I trust these days is left hook, Wajahat. His message has never changed.
