MAGA’s Ten-Point Plan for Reentry
Issued by: People Who Fuckin’ Told Em So
Effective: Immediately. Retroactively. Non-negotiable.
PREAMBLE
Whereas you have arrived at the conclusion, however belatedly, that you were wrong.
Whereas the rest of us arrived at that conclusion approximately four to eight years ago and have been waiting.
Whereas “I’m starting to have doubts” is not the same as accountability, and “I didn’t know” is no longer available to you as a defense.
The following conditions are hereby established for your reentry into decency, community, and the basic social contract the rest of us have been holding together without you. These are not suggestions. These are the terms.
POINT ONE: You Will Acknowledge What You Did. All of It. By Name.
Not “I got caught up in something.” Not “the media had us all confused.” Not “both sides were saying things.” You voted for a man who told you exactly who he was. Repeatedly. On camera. In writing. Under oath. And you voted for him anyway — not once, not twice, but three times across a decade of escalating harm. You shared racist, hateful & misogynistic posts. You attended the rallies. You repeated the lies at dinner tables and in comment sections and in voting booths. You gave your name and your voice and your vote to a movement that used all three to hurt people, including yourselves. That is what happened. You will say so. Out loud. To the people you hurt if they’ll have you, and to yourself if they won’t. Vague regret is not acknowledgment. Acknowledgment has specifics. Start there.
POINT TWO: On Racism. There Is No Asterisk.
You do not get to call it economic anxiety anymore. That window closed. You cheered for policies designed to humiliate, deport, surveil, and diminish Black Americans, Brown Americans, immigrants, and anyone this movement decided was not sufficiently American. It was never patriotism no matter how loud you obnoxiously yelled it. It was racism with an American flag in front of it — our fuckin flag. You don’t get to fly our flag anymore until we give you permission again. You will earn that privilege. You will get rid of any confederate flag, nazi flag or any other flag that symbolizes hate and racism that you have in your possession. You will name the racism in social circles and in yourself. You will stop performing it. You will interrupt it when you see it — in your family, in your church, in your group chat — and you will do that without waiting for applause. Silence in the face of racism from people you know is not neutrality. It is permission. Stop giving permission.
POINT THREE: On Misogyny. Same.
You supported an adjudicated rapist and accused child rapist, who bragged about grabbing women by their pussies without consent, who faced credible accusations from dozens of women and children, who stripped reproductive rights from women’s bodies and whose name appears in the Epstein files more times than God’s name is in the Bible. You claimed morality. It was not morality. It was control. And the women in your movement who carried that water, who tried to force feed us that ideology as tradition and family values — they did not protect women. They protected the men who hate us. You will stop excusing it. You will stop calling it culture or faith or boys being boys. You will look at the women in your life and ask yourself what you allowed while you were busy being certain you were right. You will treat women with respect and help them dismantle patriarchy.
POINT FOUR: On Betrayal. You Know Who You Are.
Some of you smiled to people’s faces and reported their doubts back to the group. Some of you kept friendships as intelligence operations. Some of you used proximity to manage people you were supposed to love. This is not a political critique. This is a character inventory. If that was you, you do not get to skip this point. You own it. You make it right with the specific people you harmed and not with a general apology posted to social media, but with a direct conversation. Real apologies cost you something — dignity, comfort, love and company — among others. You will accept the consequences of the cost and deal with it. Accountability that doesn’t cost you anything isn’t accountability. It’s reputation management. We know the difference.
POINT FIVE: On Child Protection. THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL ISSUE.
Read that again. Child rape and child abuse is not a political issue. You were in a movement that protects predators. That dismissed the connections. That laughed at the evidence. That called victims liars and made heroes out of men with documented access to children. That told you to look away, and you looked away. If you witnessed abuse and said nothing, you are not a bystander. You are complicit. That is the word. Use it on yourself. If you are a perpetrator, and some of you are, you will turn yourself in. Not because the system is perfect. Because you deserve consequence for your heinous actions. Because there are children carrying wounds you gave them, in silence, every single day. That some will carry for the rest of their lives. You do not get a soft landing. You do not get quiet rehabilitation inside a new political identity. You turn yourself in. Or every community you try to enter will do it for you. Because we will be watching very very closely. And if you know someone who is a child predator, you will protect that child by shunning, shaming and turning that predator over to the authorities. You will vow to protect children and you will honor that vow with your life.
POINT SIX: Your Political Rebrand Does Not Cover What You Did At Home.
Leaving MAGA is not a get-out-of-jail-free card for what happened inside your house. If you were physically abusive, your victims did not stop carrying that when you changed your voter registration. If you were financially controlling, psychologically manipulative, sexually coercive — those are not political behaviors that expired with your movement membership. Those are things you did to real people in real rooms. You will deal with that separately. Directly. With accountability that is personal and specific and not folded into your broader political awakening as though it is the same thing. It is not the same thing. Do not make it the same thing.
POINT SEVEN: Your Silence Is Over. Effective Immediately.
Silence is what got us here. Good people who didn’t want to start drama. People who saw the racism, misogyny, abuse and neglect at the dinner table and asked about the weather instead. People who watched a colleague get humiliated and found somewhere else to look. People who witnessed hate crimes against trans people, gay people, Black and brown people and didn’t intervene. You will intervene next time. People who knew and decided it wasn’t their fight. It is your fight now. When you hear hate, you speak. In the room. Not in a text thread after. Not in a subtweet the person will never see. In the room, out loud, while it is happening. Even if your voice shakes. You better fuckin speak up. When you see a woman being talked over, dismissed, threatened, diminished — you speak. When a man makes a comment about a woman’s body she didn’t invite, you speak. When something happens with a child that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up, you do not wait. You do not wonder. You act. This is not heroism. This is the floor. If you cannot clear the floor, you are not here yet.
POINT EIGHT: On Voting. You Do Not Get To Be Careless With This Again.
Your vote is not a vibe. It is not a protest. It is not a fuck-you to elites, or a bet on a businessman, or a middle finger to political correctness. You will not use your vote as a weapon towards vulnerable people ever again. You aimed it at the most marginalized people in this country and you fired it. Three times. Responsible voting, from here on out, means you educate yourself first and read. Not headlines. Not memes. Not whatever your cousin forwarded at 11pm. You read the actual policy. You ask who it helps and who it hurts. You look at the track record, not the promise. You follow the money. You listen to the people most affected — not as a tiebreaker, but as a primary source. You vote in every election. Not just the presidential ones that feel important. The school board. The DA. The state legislature. The judges. Those are the elections that controlled women’s bodies and gutted public education and kept police unaccountable and you were not paying attention and it cost us everything. You pay attention now. You do the reading. You vote like other people’s lives depend on it. Because they do. They always did. You know that now.
POINT NINE: You Will Show The Work. Not The Feelings.
We do not need to know that you feel bad. Everybody feels bad. Feeling bad is free. What did you do about it? Did you go back to your MAGA family members and name what they’re doing? Did you call your representatives? Did you show up to something that cost you socially? That lost you friends, that made holiday get-togethers uncomfortable, that required you to stand somewhere visible and say something true? Did you correct the lie when you heard it, even when it was easier not to? Did you give your time, your money, your voice to repair something that broke on your watch? We need to see the work. No more performative bullshit — MAGA already gave us a decade of performance. As proof. Proof takes time. We know that. We are not expecting overnight transformation. But we are expecting direction. We are expecting honesty. And we are expecting that when you are tested, you choose the right thing even when the wrong thing is sitting right there, easier and familiar and waiting for you. Shame is productive when you use it correctly. Use it correctly. Because we will if we do not see you doing the work.
POINT TEN: The Door.
It’s open. It was always open. We did not close it completely, even though most of us wanted to weld it shut. But you do not get to walk through it with a rebrand and a pivot and the audacity of someone who thinks that wanting to change is the same as having changed. Bring the truth. Bring what you did and what you allowed and what you looked away from. Bring the parts you are most ashamed of — especially those. Leave the excuses outside. They are heavy and slow and we have heard every single one already. There is real work happening on this side. Real community. Real accountability. Real solidarity that is harder and louder and less comfortable than the thing you left. And it is better. Immeasurably, undeniably better. You can be part of it. But you are going to have to earn it. We’ll be watching and you will have no choice but to deal with being under a microscope for a while.

I never trusted MAGAs from day one. I am not going to forgive or forget. Shunning them is not enough. MAGAs are a disease that must be cut out surgically.
My door is already bolted shut and I've set a claymore trap on it. I will never trust a maga again.
